INDIVIDUALS WITH A DISABILITY HEARING and THEORY OF MIND

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to review studies which consist of theory of mind (ToM) characteristics of people with hearing disabilities. In the first part of the study, general features of ToM are described. In the second part of the study, studies which investigated ToM features of people with hearing disabilities are covered in detail. In the third part of the study, studies which investigated factors on ToM features of people with hearing disabilities are presented and finally studies which covered the relationship between language useage of children with hearing disabilities in their houses and relationship between ToM are presented.
