Abstract

In this study, teachers' views about questionnaires that are carried out in masters and doctoral researches in primary and secondary schools are investigated by qualitative methods. For this aim, data is gathered by using semi-structured interview form prepared by researchers in 11 schools which are chosen from 3 districts of Izmir. As a result, teachers think that questionnaires are made for scientific purposes, on the other hand because of incomprehensible questions and insufficient alternatives teachers can not express themselves exactly. For this reason %60 percent of teachers stated that they prefer face to face interviews instead of answering questionnaires, so it make possible, to bave the questions explained.
