Copyright Policy

If the manuscripts are accepted for publication, Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law has all publishing rights, including publishing them electronically in full text (in any format). Authors are deemed to have transferred their copyrights to the Faculty.
After the evaluation process is completed, a Copyright Transfer Form is requested from the authors of the articles accepted for publication.
As stated in the Copyright Transfer Form, as the corresponding author, 'Dokuz Eylül University' has no responsibility for any claims or lawsuits to be filed by third parties due to copyright infringement. With the Copyright Transfer Form, the authors undertake that all responsibility belongs to them as the responsible author, that there is no criminal element or illegal statement in the article, that they do not use any illegal materials and methods during the research, that they have obtained all legal permissions related to the study and that they act in accordance with ethical rules.

Authors can deposit a copy of the submitted version, accepted version (author accepted manuscript) or published version (version of record)of their paper in an institutional or other repository of their choice. But the author has to cite the paper and also note the link of the published version.

Authors are free to:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.

Under the following terms:
Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

Notices:
You do not have to comply with the license for elements of the material in the public domain or where your use is permitted by an applicable exception or limitation.
No warranties are given. The license may not give you all of the permissions necessary for your intended use. For example, other rights such as publicity, privacy, or moral rights may limit how you use the material.
