SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND INVESTIGATION OF ABSORPTION PROPERTIES OF PYRAZOLE BASED DISAZO DYES

Abstract

Recently, ZnO films are among the preferred transparent conductive oxides because of their advantageous properties such as absence of toxicity, low cost and abundance in nature. In this study, undoped and Mg doped ZnO films have been deposited onto microscope glass substrates at 400±5 ºC by using Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis which is simple and economic technique. XRD diffraction patterns have been confirmed that all films have hexagonal wurtzite type structure. Optical transmittance of the films has been shown that have an average transmittance between 65-80% in the visible region. Optical band gap values of films that are obtained using optical method have been increased with Mg doping. The surface topographies of the films in three dimensions and surface roughness have been examined by Atomic Force Microscope. The effect of different Mg concentration doping on the structural, optical, surface properties of ZnO films has been investigated with this study. It has determined that Mg doped ZnO films are suitable for optoelectronic applications. 1.
