Abstract

In the case when the cultural and historical values that are founded by the excavations are
movable cultural assests like sculptures, they are carried to the museums to be exhibited after a
serious conservation process. But in the contrary situation, the inmovable cultural assests have to be
preserved within the site. The context of this study is to discuss the principles, needs, design and
application process of the “Preservation Roofs-Shelters” and “Walking Platforms” which are
produced for obtaining the purpose of protecting the cultural assets, and exhibiting them in situ, on
site.
