DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS AIMED ANALYSE OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS: CASE STUDY

Abstract

In Turkey, 112 Emergency Help Services applications started for people who are sick or wounded to access to the case location with health equipment for making first aid and if needed transport them to the nearest heath center in minimum time period. It is needed to minize risk of results which occurs from decision makers’ wrong decisions during the subject of arrive to case locations or transport patients to the nearest health center. The aim of the study is generating an interface to control and trace the ambulance services before and after interference with making Decision Support Systems for traffic accidents. The study which includes İzmir metropolitan area allows decision makers to present and analyze spatial and non-spatial data together in user-friendly graphicalinterface. So that, this study supplies making preventive decisions for not having delay on the subjects of access or transport with determining the delays.
