Multi-Input And Gate for Physical Measurement and Triggering

Abstract

In this study, a NodeMCU-based, web-controlled, and dynamic input number multi-port VE gate platform was developed and evaluated experimentally. The system consists of eight independent VE gates, each configurable between 2–128 inputs. Users can define entrances and connections between doors via the web interface; The AND operation and time measurement of the selected port are performed on the NodeMCU. In addition, microcontroller processing time (μs) and end-to-end total time (ms) were examined together. The results, based on a total of 1280 metric records, showed that the NodeMCU processing time steadily increased as the number of entries increased. The mean time was 149.71 μs in 2 entries and 15895.09 μs in 128 entries; linear harmony coefficient R² = 0.971. The findings demonstrate a small-scale experimental study of the physical measurement and data processing processes of the developed platform.
