ADAMOV TİYATROSUNA GENEL BİR BAKIŞ

Abstract

Çalışmamızda uyumsuz tiyatronun önemli yazarlarından Adamov‟un yazın serüvenini ana hatlarıyla incelemeyi amaçladık. Adamov, Strindberg ve Artaud gibi yazarların etkisiyle yazarlığının ilk döneminde uyumsuz tiyatro örnekleri vererek insanlık durumunun saçmalığı üzerinde durur. La Parodie, L’Invasion, La Grande et La Petite Manœuvre gibi oyunlar bu amaçla yazılmıştır. 1957 yılında yazdığı Paolo Paoli ile Brecht‟in “epik tiyatrosuna” yakınlaştığı görülür. İkinci dönem oyunlarının başlangıcı olarak kabul edilen bu oyunla Birinci Dünya Savaşı‟nın çıkış nedenleri ve sonuçları tüm ekonomik, sosyal, politik boyutlarıyla seyirciye sunulur. Bu oyundan sonra yazılan diğer oyunlarda da “Tarih”, yazarın ilk dönem oyunlarında sıklıkla yer verdiği kişisel acı ve saplantılarının yerini alır. Nihayet, hem “epik tiyatro” hem de “uyumsuz tiyatro” unsurlarının başarılı bir şekilde birleştirildiği üçüncü dönem oyunları gelir. Si l’Eté revenait örneğiyle Adamov‟un bu dönem oyunlarının genel özelliklerinden söz edeceğiz

AN OVERVIEW OF ADAMOV THEATRE

Abstract

In our study, we aimed to examine the overall features of the writing adventure of Adamov, who is one of the outstanding writers of the theatre of the absurd. With the influence of such writers as Strindberg and Artaud, he focused on the absurdity of human situation by producing sample plays of the theatreof the absurd in the first years of his writing career. The plays such as La Parodie, L’Invasion, La Grande et La Petite Manœuvre were written with this aim in mind. With his play “Paolo Paoli” that he wrote in 1957, it is seen that Brecht showed a closeness toward “epic theater”. Through this play which is accepted as the beginning of his second-period plays, the reasons for the start of World War I and its consequences are shown to the whole world with its economic, social, and politic dimensions. In his plays that he wrote after this one, “History” replaces personal anguish and obsessions that he frequently dealt with in his first-period works. In the end, his third-period works in which “epic theatre” and “the theatreof the absurd” are mergedsuccessfully come to the stage. We will discuss the general features of Adamov‟s this-period plays through his work Si l’Eté revenait.
