Abstract

Aim: The social and economic burden of osteoporosis is increasing worldwide, as the population ages. The clinical evaluation of osteoporosis in clinical practise is depend on the avareness of patients and health staff. Kırk bes yas ve üstü kadınlarda osteoporoz risk faktörleri

Abstract

Amaç: Tüm dünyada nüfusun yaslanması ile birlikte osteoporozun sosyal ve ekonomik yükü artmaktadır. Osteoporoza ve osteoporotik kırıklara karsı önlem alabilmenin ilk kosulu osteoporoz risk faktörleri hakkında saglık personeli ve bireylerin farkındalık bilincinin olusmasıdır. Çalısmamızda Baskent Üniversitesi Menopoz Poliklinigi\'nde 45 yas ve üstü kadınlarda osteoporoz risk faktörlerinin saptanması amaçlanmıstır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalısmaya 45 yas ve üstü 272 postmenapozal kadın alındı ve içlerinden lumbar ve femur boynu kemik yogunlugu -2.5 SD altında olan 146 osteoporotik hastada risk faktörleri arastırıldı. Bulgular: Kadınların yas ortalaması 53.9±8.3 yıl idi (45-82) %87.9\'u evli ve %55,1\'i lise ve üzeri egitime sahipti. Kadınların %68.8\'i menopoza girmistir. Osteoporoz tanısı alanların oranı %53,7\'dir. Ailesinde osteoporoz öyküsü (%60,8), ailesinde minör travmaya baglı kırık öyküsü (%69,8), kendinde düsme ve çarpmaya baglı kırık öyküsü olanlarda (%71,0), osteoporoz dısında kronik hastalıgı olan (%59,9), düzenli ilaç kullanan (%61,0), uzun süre yataga bagımlı olan (%67,3), 3 cm ve üzerinde boyda kısalma (%77,3) sırt-bel agrısı (%61,1) ve sırtta kamburlasması olanlarda (%70,9) osteoporoz daha sık idi (p5 olanlarda osteoporoz görülme sıklıgı da artmıs bulundu (p
