The thoracic segmental epidural anesthesia in a patient with severe lung disease

Abstract

The segmental epidural anesthesia which is performed by low dose local anesthetic applied to mid-thoracic re­gion has been conducted successfully in upper abdomi­nal surgery. In our report, we discussed our experience of segmental epidural anesthesia for a patient who had acute cholecystitis and severe lung disease in the context of the literature.

Ciddi akciğer hastalıklı olguda segmental torakal epidural anestezi

Abstract

Orta torakal bölgeye düşük doz lokal anestezik verilerek oluşturulan segmental epidural anestezi, kolesistektomi gibi üst batın operasyonlarında başarıyla uygulanmakta­dır. Sunumuzda ciddi akciğer problemi olan akut kolesis­titli bir hastada segmental epidural anestezi yaklaşımımız literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.
