Abstract
Ekzema herpetikum, daha önce mevcut olan bir deri has­talığı üzerinde gelişen derinin dissemine herpes simpleks virus enfeksiyonudur. Hastalık nadiren hayatı tehdit edici­dir ve sıklıkla herpes simpleks tip 1 ve 2 nedeniyle mey­dana gelir. Burada dört yaşında ekzema herpetikumlu bir çocuk olgu sunduk ve hastalığın klinik özellikleri, etiyoloji­si ve tedavisini tartıştık.

Abstract
Eczema herpeticum is a disseminated herpes simplex virus infection of the skin in cases with a pre-existing der­matosis. The disease is occasionally life-threatening and frequently caused by herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2. We reported here a four-year-old boy with eczema herpe­ticum and discussed clinical characteristics, etiology and treatment of the disease.
