Two cases with liver cirrhosis secondary to hepatitis B that presented with hepatocellular carcinoma at young age

Abstract

Abstract: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common primary malignant tumor of the liver. In men, the most common fifth in women the most common seventh tumor. Africa and Asia were more associated with hepatitis B virus, Europe and the United States is associated with hepatitis C virus. Underdeveloped countries depending on an early age exposure to hepatitis viruses can also be seen in under 45 years, the incidence of HCC increases after the age of 45 at developed countries. They\'re both 36 years old, the son of aunt both patients were admitted with complaints of abdominal bloating, and fatigue. In ex­amination revealed splenomegaly and grade 1-2 acid. In two patients with HCC due to hepatitis B-related liver cir­rhosis that was detected at the first examination who are presented in order to remind the importance of follow-up the inactive infection or chronic HBV infection .

Genç yaşta hepatoselüler karsinoma ile prezente olan, hepatit B\'ye bağlı iki karaciğer sirozu vakası

Abstract

Amaç: Hepatosellüler karsinom (HCC) karaciğerin en sık görülen primer malign tümörüdür. Erkeklerde en sık görü­len 5., kadınlarda ise en sık görülen 7. tümördür. Afrika ve Asya kıtalarında daha çok hepatit B virüsü ile ilişkili ola­rak görülürken, Avrupa ve Amerika Birleşik Devletlerinde Hepatit C virüsü ile ilişkilidir. Gelişmemiş ülkelerde erken yaşta hepatit viruslerine maruziyete bağlı olarak 45 yaşın altında görülerken gelişmiş ülkelerde HCC\'nin görülme sıklığı 45 yaşından sonra artar. HCC gelişimi açısından erkekler kadınlara göre daha yüksek risk altındadırlar. İki­si de 36 yaşında, teyze oğlu olan hastaların her ikisi de karında şişkinik ve halsizlik şikayetleri ile polikliniğe baş­vurdu. Muayenelerinde splenomegali ve grade 1-2 asit saptandı. İlk müracaatlarında yapılan tetkiklerde hepatit B\'ye bağlı karaciğer sirozu ve HCC saptanan iki hasta, kronik ya da inaktif HBV enfeksiyon takibinin önemini ha­tırlatmak amacı ile sunulmuştur.
