Abstract
Syngnathia with bilateral maxillo-mandibular inter-alveolar adhesion is a rare entity and a cause of difficult airway. Airway management skills and experience of the anesthetist are crucial factors in the outcome. In this case report we aimed to discuss the successful anesthetic management of a six days-old baby presenting with congenital anomaly of isolated adhesion of the mandible and the maxilla.

Abstract
Konjenital izole mandibula ve maksilla füzyonu nadir görülen fakat neonatal dönemde havayolunun sağlanmasında anesteziste önemli zorluklar çıkarabilen bir anomalidir. Havayolunun korunması ve intraoperatif yönetimi zor olan bu vakalarda anestezistin tecrübesi ve becerisi mortalite ve morbidite üzerinde kritik öneme sahiptir. Bu olgu sunumunda maksillo-mandibular füzyon (singnati) nedeniyle operasyonu planlanan altı günlük bebek hastada uygulanan başarılı anestezi yönetimi anlatılmıştır.
