THE VERSE FOR NASÎ AND ITS MODERN APPLICATIONS

Abstract

Time and its measurement are two facts that no humankind would ever be regarded as unfamiliar with throughout his strain. The almighty Allah who has created the sun and the moon appraises the concept of time to be consisting of 12 along with the 4 forbidden (haram) months. However, the mankind has altered its count through the practice – nasî, simply by intercalating and therefore, intervening in haram months as well as the prayer times on the basis of serving their own interests. The prohibition of nasî is revealed as documented in the Sura at-Tawbah 37, presumably announcing nasî was an addition to disbelief. The method of nasî made up its way to the 21st century in a large variety of ways, undermining the view that the relevant verse is historical. The nasî ayah is universal as is the entire Qur’an, and, will remain as the sole guide for humanity until the Day of Judgment.

“NESΔ ÂYETİ VE MODERN NESÎ UYGULAMALARI

Abstract

Zaman ve sayımı, insanoğlunun yeryüzündeki görevi esnasında müstağni kalamayacağı objektif kevnî hakikatlerden birisidir. Güneş’i ve Ay’ı yaratan Allah Teâlâ zamanı da takdir etmiş, saymış; ayların sayısını 12, haram ayları ise 4 olarak belirlemiştir. Ne var ki insanoğlu çoğu kez kendi çıkarları için nesî adını verdiği bir yöntemle zaman sayımını bozmuş, savaşın yasak olduğu haram ayların yerlerini değiştirmiş, ibadet vakitlerine müdahale etmiştir. Tevbe sûresinin 37. âyeti, nesî yöntemini kişisel olmaktan çok bir toplum ve insanlık suçu olarak görmüş, bu yüzden şiddetli inkâr kategorisinde değerlendirmiştir. Nesî yöntemi birçok görüntüsüyle günümüzde de devam etmektedir. Bu yüzden ilgili âyetin tarihsel olduğunu ileri sürmek isabetli değildir. Nesî âyeti tüm Kur’ân gibi evrenseldir ve kıyamete kadar insanlığa mesaj verip yol göstermeye devam etmektedir
