The first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of the preIslamic period in the Arabian Peninsula is paganism and polytheism. . However, religions such as Judaism, Sabean, Christianity and Zoroastrianism also existed, but these religions were more regional For this reason, in our article, we will specifically focus on Paganizm, Polytheism, and Polytheists under the title ‘Pre-Islamic religious life in the Arabian Peninsula’. It is understood that Polytheism is as old as the history of mankind and that Polytheism arrived to the Arab Peninsula during the very early periods. KUR’AN BAĞLAMINDA İSLÂM ÖNCESİ

Abstract

Arap Yarımadası’nda İslâm öncesi dinî hayat denilince ilk akla gelen Putperestlik ve şirktir. Gerçi bunun haricinde Yahudilik, Hıristiyanlık, Sabiîlik ve Mecûsîlik gibi dinler de varlıklarını sürdürmekte idiler ancak; bunlar daha çok bölgesel olarak kalmakta idiler. Bunun için biz bu makalemizde, İslâm öncesi Arap Yarımadası’ndaki dinî hayat başlığı altında Putperestlik/Paganizm/Şirk ve müşriklik kavramları üzerinde duracağız. Şirkin insanlık tarihi kadar eski olduğu ve Arap Yarımadasına ise çok eskiden geldiği anlaşılmaktadır. Ancak bunun nasıl yerleştiği konusu farklı rivayetlere dayanmaktadır
