Religious service in Prisons and the Language of Communication with Prisoners (Example of the Nevsehir E-Type Prison)

Abstract

The ministry of religious affairs is a department which offers religious service both domestically and internationally in accordance with its constitutional responsibility.One of the tasks of the ministry is religious services in prisons Like all areas of religious service, religious services in prisons also contain certain hardships. First and foremost, religious services in prisons require sensitivity. For this reason when dealing with religious service in prisons it is essential to follow a precise and sensitive approach to programs which determine the scope of service to those offering the service, the service environment and the language used when delivering the service.. There is a new method named NLP that is being used today in different sectors and is also important in its application to religious services in prisons. The use of language when communicating with prisoners is just as important as the religious service being delivered, therefore, one should be careful and sensitive in its deliverance.

CEZAEVLERİNDEKİ DİN HİZMETLERİ VE MAHKÛMLARLA İLETİŞİM DİLİ (Nevşehir E Tipi Kapalı Cezaevi Örneği)

Abstract

Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı, anayasal görevi gereği yurt içi ve yurt dışında din hizmeti sunan bir kurumdur. Başkanlığın hizmet alanlarından birini de cezaevlerinde sürdürülen din hizmetleri teşkil etmektedir. Bütün din hizmetlerinde olduğu gibi cezaevi din hizmetlerinde de birtakım sıkıntılar söz konusudur. Her şeyden önce cezaevi din hizmetleri hassasiyet gerektiren bir hizmettir. Onun için bu hizmette, hizmetin kapsamını belirleyen programdan hizmeti sunana, hizmet verilen ortama ve hizmet sunulurken kullanılan dile varıncaya dek hassasiyet gösterilmelidir. Günümüzde birçok alanda uygulanan, yeni bir metot olarak da bilinen NLP yönteminin cezaevi din hizmetlerinde kullanımı da önemlidir. Mahkûmlarla iletişim dili de en az verilen din hizmeti kadar dikkat edilmesi gereken bir konudur
