Abstract

In this article, we will present a Turkish translation of Ibn Hazm’s treatise named “al-Tawkîf alâ Shâri’i al-Necât bi-İhtisâri al-Tarîk”. This treatise occurred as a response of Ibn Hazm for a letter written to him. In the treatise, positive and religious sciences were compared in terms of their goals and benefits. Also, there were evaluations about philosophy, logic, math, medicine, astronomy and etc. Ibn Hazm dealt with the proofs and necessity of the existence of God and the institute of prophethood. Additionally it was offered a general perspective on fundamental issues regarding main religious issues by evaluating Islam and other religions established by a prophet

İbn Hazm’ın “et-Tevkîf alâ Şârii’n-Necât bi İhtisâri’t-Tarîk” Adlı Risalesi

Abstract

Burada İbn Hazm’ın risâlelerinden biri olan “et-Tevkîf alâ Şârii’nNecât bi-İhtisâri’t-Tarîk” adlı eserin Türkçe bir tercümesini sunacağız. Risâle, İbn Hazm’ın kendisine yazılmış olan bir mektuba verdiği cevabın neticesinde ortaya çıkmıştır. Risâlede pozitif bilimler ile dini bilimler gaye ve fayda bakımından karşılaştırılmaktadır. Felsefe, mantık, matematik, tıp ve astronomi vs. ilimler hakkında değerlendirmelerin yer aldığı risalede ayrıca Allah’ın (cc) ispatı, peygamberlik müessesesinin ispatı ve gerekliliği üzerinde durulmakta, İslam ile birlikte, bir peygamber tarafından kurulmuş olan diğer dinler değerlendirilerek bilgi ve dini ilgilendiren temel konularda genel bir perspektif çizilmektedir
