Abstract

Our knowledge regarding with universe, spirit and freedoms which are in the metaphysical field seems inadequate in explaining them by the principles of mind. The phenomenon of religion explains these questions that surrounds us. At the same time, it describes the importance of the revelation, and our beliefs about God within their existential context as well.Religious pluralism claims to interpret common sides of human desire in these contexts. In the historical process, religious diversity maintained its existence with the works of theologians and philosophers. On the other hand, it has continued to be the subject of research of philosophers. This shows the importance of the subject.This article introduces the contemporary philosopher John Hick’s argument about pluralism and arguments of other philosophers against him within their contexts

Abstract

Evren ruh ve özgürlükle ilgili bilgilerimizi apriori aklın prensipleriyle temellendirme girişimlerimiz, metafizik alana giren bu kavramları açıklamada yetersiz görünmektedir. Varlığımızı çepeçevre kuşatan bu temel sorularımızı yetkin bir şekilde açıklayan din fenomeni, aynı zamanda bize vahyin önemini ve Tanrıyla ilgili inançlarımızı, varoluşsal bağlamları içerisinde açıklamaktadır
