Akademik Yaşam Doyumu, İş Bulma Kaygısı ve Mesleğe İnanç Arasındaki İlişkilerin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmada beden eğitimi öğretmeni adaylarında akademik doyum, mesleki inanç ve iş bulma kaygısı arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Yöntem: Araştırma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan ilişkisel araştırma modeli benimsenerek tasarlanmıştır. Araştırma grubu, Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi'nde öğrenim gören 136 kadın ve 90 erkek olmak üzere toplam 226 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Spor Bilimleri Öğrencilerinin İş Bulma Kaygısı Ölçeği, Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenliği Mesleki İnanç Ölçeği ve Akademik Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. İstatistiksel işlemler için JASP programının SEM sekmesi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Akademik ortamdan doyumun, iş bulma kaygısı üzerinde negatif ve anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu bulunmuştur. Diğer yandan, mesleki inancın iş bulma kaygısı üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı, akademik ortamdan doyumun mesleki inanç üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı,ve mesleki inancın akademik ortamdan doyum ile iş bulma kaygısı arasındaki ilişkide pozitif ve anlamlı bir aracılık etkisi olduğu bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Üniversite öğrencilerinin akademik ortamdan doyumlarının iş bulma kaygıları üzerinde doğrudan, olumsuz ve anlamlı bir etkisi tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, akademik ortamdan doyumun mesleki inanç üzerindeki olumlu ve anlamlı etkisi, dolaylı olarak iş bulma kaygısını azaltmaktadır.

Examining of the Relationships Between Academic Life Satisfaction, Job-Finding Anxiety and Professional Belief

Abstract

Objective: This study investigated the relationships between academic satisfaction, professional beliefs, and job-finding anxiety among prospective physical education teachers. Methods: The research was designed using a correlational research model, a quantitative research method. The research group consisted of 226 students (136 women and 90 men) studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences. The Sports Sciences Students' Job-Finding Anxiety Scale, the Physical Education Teacher Professional Belief Scale, and the Academic Life Satisfaction Scale were used as data collection instruments. Structural equation modelling (SEM) analyses were conducted using JASP. Findings: It was found that academic satisfaction had a negative and statistically significant effect on job-finding anxiety. On the other hand, professional belief had a positive and significant effect on job-finding anxiety, academic satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on professional belief, and professional belief had a positive and significant mediating effect on the relationship between academic satisfaction and job-finding anxiety. Conclusion: It was determined that university students' academic satisfaction has a direct, negative, and significant effect on their job-finding anxiety. Furthermore, satisfaction from the academic environment has a positive and significant impact on professional belief, indirectly reducing anxiety about finding a job.
