THY FOLK SONG KÜTAHYA'NIN PINARLARI (VEHBİ) AND ITS TRUELIFE STORY
Abstract
Folk songs are the
most sincere way of speaking, that reflect emotion, blief, thought, mood of
people and surrounding events of them. In fact it is the inner novel of
Anatolia. It is the interpreter of hearts and the magical mirror of souls. It
is the source of turkish public culture. It is the product of public that is
admirable and go the round. Folk songs are important documents for determine of
the cultural texture. Therefore it is necesserary to determine and conserve our
folk songs. Especially for authorities it is necessary to be aware towards mistakes
about region, tune, text or story of folk songs while compilation. If there is
a mistake about compilation it is also necessary to correct for the
authorities. In this work, it is explained a Kütahya folk song that is famous
as Vehbi folk song and begins with “Kütahya’nın Pınarları” words. The purpose
of this work is to determine the reference story of the song and to reveal the
mistakes of other story that was known, in a scientific way. Therefore it is
asked for information from new reference people, it is found out the real story
and specified the mistakes of other story with its reasons.
