Abstract

The ideal type consists of the characteristics of a theoretical and ideal action or even makes it explicit. The ideal type makes the ideas of an action clear and consistent. Then the generalizing forms of the ideal type which are similarly distinct. The ideal type which organizes correlated facts to allow interpretation of a causal relationship between them. Thus the ideal type conceptualizes the basic and general characteristics of a social action in its pure form. The ideal typical protestant orientation to the world of social and economic affairs is based mainly come out of the writings of Richard Baxter and John Wesley. Protestantism was not only important at the individual motivanal level , it also constituted a radical cultural break with tradition. And also it brought into being new kinds of social groups and institutions which were also to be important for the rise and continuation of rational economic action

Abstract

İdeal tip kuramsal ve ideal bir eylemin niteliklerinden meydana gelir veya en azından bu tarz bir faaliyeti açık bir hale getirir. İdeal tip , eylemin içerdiği düşünceleri , anlaşılır ve tutarlı kılar. İdeal tip biçimlerinin genelleştirilmesi de , aynı şekilde açık olacaktır. İdeal tip , aralarında karşılıklı ilişki bulunan gerçek olayları , aralarında nedensellik bağının kurularak yorumlanmasına izin verir. Böylece ideal tip , toplumsal bir eylemin saf şekliyle temel ve genel niteliklerinin kavramsallaşmasını sağlar. Toplumsal ve ekonomik işlerde dünyaya yönelmenin protestan ideal tipi , esas olarak , Richard Baxter ve John Wesley’in yazılarında açığa çıkmaktadır. Protestanlık , sadece bireyin güdüsel seviyesi açısından önemli değildir , köktenci bir şekilde geleneksel yapıyla olan kültür bağının kopmasını sağlamıştır. Ayrıca, rasyonel ekonomik etkinliğin yükselmesi ve sürekliliği açısından da çok önemli olan, yeni türdeki toplumsal grupları ve kurumları beraberinde getirmiştir
