ASAYİŞ POLİSİNİN BİLGİ YÖNETİMİ PERFORMANSININ İNCELENMESİ

Year 2018, Issue: 55, 37 - 51, 23.02.2018

Abstract

Teknolojinin kullanılması suçun önlenmesinde ve azaltılmasında
oldukça önemlidir. Bu nedenle bilgi yönetimi, örgütlerin hedeflerine ulaşmak
için başvurduğu en önemli süreçlerinden biridir. Bilgi, kelimelerle tarif

THE EVALUATION OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE OF PUBLIC ORDER POLICE

Year 2018, Issue: 55, 37 - 51, 23.02.2018

Abstract

The use of technology is
crucial to crime reduction and prevention. Thus, k
nowledge management is one of the most important processes
for organizations to reach their targets. Knowledge is a complex and difficult
phenomenon to be described and explained in words, but it can provide a serious
benefit for organizations when it is used effectively. Using the knowledge
management helps police to develop their intellectual capital.
This
paper describes and classifies different types of knowledge that are a part of
police officers’ practice. However, a large part of police officers’
professional knowledge is complex and difficult to describe and explain in
words, as well.
There are two
factors in knowledge management of public order
police: theoretical knowledge and street-level knowledge.  In this study, the evaluation of knowledge
management in police and the joining the knowledge management are discussed.
