Termal Konaklama İşletmelerinde Sürdürülebilirlik İletişimi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, termal konaklama işletmelerinin web sitelerinin içeriklerinin ve sürdürülebilir uygulamaları kapsayan sürdürülebilirlik iletişim düzeylerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında Kütahya, Eskişehir, Afyon ve Uşak’ta faaliyette bulunan termal konaklama işletmelerinin web siteleri, bilgi ve süreç, değer, ilişkiler, tasarım ve kullanılabilirlik, güven ve sürdürülebilirlik iletişimi boyutları açısından incelenmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre termal konaklama işletmelerinin büyük bir çoğunluğunun web sitelerini etkin bir şekilde kullanmadığı ve sürdürülebilir uygulamalara/davranışlara yönelik bilgi paylaşımlarının oldukça sınırlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Sustainability Communication in Thermal Hotels

Abstract

In this study, the aim was to determine the content of thermal accommodation establishments' websites and the levels of sustainability communication covering sustainable practices. Within the scope of the study, the websites of thermal accommodation establishments operating in Kütahya, Eskişehir, Afyon and Uşak were examined in terms of aspects such as information and process, values, relationships, design and usability, trust, and sustainability communication. According to the results obtained from the study, it was determined that the majority of thermal accommodation establishments do not effectively utilize their websites, and their information sharing regarding sustainable practices/behaviors is quite limited.
