Türkiye’de Kültürel Ön Yargıların Azaltılmasına Yönelik Müdahale Yaklaşımları: Sistematik Bir İnceleme

Year 2025, Issue: 86, 248 - 267, 25.10.2025

Abstract

Intervention Approaches for Reducing Cultural Prejudices in Türkiye: A Systematic Review

Year 2025, Issue: 86, 248 - 267, 25.10.2025

Abstract

Türkiye has historically been a context where cultural prejudices are widespread. In this study, the term “cultural prejudice” refers to biases among ethnic groups, between refugees and local populations, and across geographical identities. In recent years, various interventions have been developed and tested to reduce such prejudices in Türkiye. However, a comprehensive review is needed to evaluate the scope and effectiveness of these efforts. This systematic review aims to examine the existing literature on interventions targeting intercultural prejudice in Türkiye between 2010 and 2024. The studies were systematically reviewed based on criteria such as the type of prejudice, target group, intervention strategy, and effectiveness. The findings highlight prevailing trends, common intervention approaches, and existing research gaps, providing valuable insights and guidance for future research and practice in fields such as psychology, sociology, and other social sciences.
