All Anatolian skeletons whose racial types had been determined were considered from a synthesis viewpoint. This synthesis posed a question; Do the mutations which cause the head shape to change, take place in certain circumstances more rapidly in one sex than in the other? It also suggests that Cappieri's theory that the Hittites are autochthonous seems plausible and offers a probable dolichocephalic Caucasoid origin for the Turks.
