Only manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not currently under review by another journal, and are approved by the authors, are accepted for evaluation.
DUSTIBID uses turnitin.com to detect plagiarism. Manuscripts that pass the plagiarism check and are deemed suitable are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief in terms of originality, methodology, significance of the subject, and alignment with the journal’s scope.
The Editor-in-Chief evaluates submissions without regard to the authors’ ethnicity, gender, nationality, religious beliefs, or political views. They ensure that all submissions undergo a fair double-blind peer review process and assign the manuscript to a relevant Associate Editor with expertise in the subject area.
The Associate Editor sends the manuscript to at least two national or international reviewers for evaluation. The final publication decision is made by the Associate Editor, based on the revisions made by the authors in response to reviewer comments and the outcome of the peer review process. At least two positive reviewer reports are required for a manuscript to be accepted.
Reviewers are expected to provide objective and impartial evaluations. During the review process, they are asked to consider the following points:
*Does the manuscript offer new and significant contributions to the field?
*Is the abstract clearly and accurately reflecting the content of the article?
*Are the methods described in a clear and coherent manner?
*Are the interpretations and conclusions supported by the findings?
*Are references to related work sufficient and appropriate?
*Is the language and writing quality adequate?
Reviewers must treat all information related to the submitted manuscript as confidential until it is published. If they identify any copyright infringement or plagiarism, they are obliged to report it to the editor. If a reviewer feels unqualified to assess the manuscript or cannot provide a timely review, they should inform the editor and withdraw from the review process.
During the evaluation, editors explicitly remind reviewers that the submitted manuscripts are the intellectual property of the authors and must be treated as privileged and confidential information. Reviewers and editorial board members must not discuss the manuscripts with others. The anonymity of reviewers must be maintained at all times.
