DUSTIBID is published through the Ulakbim Dergipark platform under an open access model, providing free access to all issues of the journal and the articles within them. Our journal supports the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and operates accordingly.
DUSTIBID (Düzce University Journal of Ornamental and Medicinal Plants Botanical Garden) embraces the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) (http://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/list_signatures) within the framework of open access. According to BOAI, open access means unrestricted access to scientific research outputs via the internet without financial, legal, or technical barriers; these contents can be freely read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, scanned, indexed, linked to full texts, and used for any lawful purpose.
Authors are deemed to have agreed that, upon publication, all users have free access to the content, which is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Through this license, DUSTIBID protects the published content while promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Authors submitting manuscripts to DUSTIBID are considered to have accepted the following Copyright Declaration. In addition, a signed Copyright Declaration Form must be uploaded to the online system during submission.

Copyright of the published article belongs to the authors.
Authors grant the journal permission to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.
The article may be freely used by third parties as long as proper attribution to the original authors is given.
This license does not affect the authors' moral rights to the integrity and ownership of their work.
All commercial rights related to the article remain with the authors.
