The Treatment of Bite Wounds of Lambs which were Attacked by Stray Dogs in Gevas Vicinity in Van Province
Abstract
In this study, it was evaluated that an average of 8 months of age of 20 lambs which got lost moving away from the sheep pen and
got wounded being exposed the attack of a group of stray dogs. The bite wounds were in the head, neck, nape, chin, pharynx,
larynx, chest, abdomen and pelvic regions, testes, hind lims and tails. The suitable surgical and medical treatments were applied. In
such cases if the bite wounds were throat region It should be careful about asphyxia and attention for rabies
