This study was performed to determine helminth species found in chickens grown in central villages of Hakkari.
During the study process; 84 chicken stools collected from central villages were examined for helminths. At the end of study
82.3 % of chickens was found to be infected with different helminth species. Nematod prevalance was 76.5 %, trematod
prevalance was 4.9 %, cestod prevalance was 10,71 % in the chickens infected with helminths. Syngamus trachea (% 2,38)
from nematods, Echinostoma spp. (% 4,76), Ascaridia gali (%7,14) from trematots, Raillietina spp. (% 10,71) from cestods
Trichostrongylus tenuis (%11,90), Heterakis gallinarum (%17,85), Capillaria spp. (% 27,38) were detected at the end of study.
Mixed infection prevalance was found to be %26,19
Bu çalışma, Hakkari ili merkez köylerinde yetiştirilen tavuklarda bulunan helmint türlerini belirlemek amacıyla
yapılmıştır. İncelenen 84 tavuk dışkısının 69’unda (%82,14) helmint invazyonları saptandı. İnceleme sonucunda tavukların %
82.3'ünün çeşitli helmint türleriyle enfekte olduğu belirlenmiştir. Helmint saptanan tavuklarda helmintlerin görülme sıklığı,
nematodlarda %76.5, trematodlarda % 4.9, cestodlarda ise %10,71 olarak tesbit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda nematodlardan
