This study was conducted to investigate the milk components of Karacadağ Zom sheep which is bred in Karacadağ region of Çınar Town of Diyarbakır City. As animal material Zom sheeps, about 70 sheep was used for milk composition. The milk components as total solids, milk fat, nonfat solid, specific gravity, titratable acidity, protein, lactose and pH were found as 16.8±0.19%, 4.2±0.13%, 12.4±0.10%, 1.0388, 9.6±0.13, 4.6±0.04%, 6.8±0.06, 6.8±0.01 respectively. As a result, it was determined that milk components of Zom sheeps were parallel to the traits described in other Turkish native sheeps breeds.
