Abstract

Wetlands, many bird species sheltering, feeding and breeding are one of the important habitats. Any

interference with wetlands directly affects the living things around here. In the past, which has 580 ha area Efteni

Lake, in the 1970s reduced up to 25 ha and the present work later in the year 1992 has reached 170 ha area. This

study of bird species living in Lake Efteni determination is the first study. Total of 129 species were identified in

the study area. Maximum number of species have been identified in August. A total of 38 species produced in

the area where the IUCN criteria Aythya nyroca (Güldenstaedt, 1770) and Coracias garrulus L., 1758 near

threated (NT), Aquila clanga Pall., 1811 vulnerable (VU), Oxyura leucocephala (Scop., 1769), endangered ( EN)

was identified as a protected status.

Düzce-Efteni Gölü Kuş Türleri

Abstract

Sulak alanlar, çoğu kuş türünün barınma, beslenme ve üremesinde önemli habitatlardandır. Sulak alanlara

yapılan her türlü müdahale buralarda yaşayan kuşları etkilemektedir. Geçmişte 580 ha olan Efteni Gölü, 1970’li

yıllarda kurutularak 25 ha’a kadar küçültülmüş ve daha sonra 1992 yılındaki çalışmalarla günümüzdeki 170

ha’lık alanına kavuşmuştur. Bu çalışma, Efteni Gölü’nde yaşayan kuş türlerinin belirlenmesi için yapılan ilk

araştırmadır. Çalışma alanında toplam 129 tür tespit edilmiştir. En fazla tür sayısı ağustos ayında belirlenmiştir.

Toplam 38 türün ürediği alanda IUCN kriterlerine göre Aythya nyroca (Güldenstaedt, 1770) ve Coracias

garrulus L., 1758 tehlike sınırında (NT), Aquila clanga Pall., 1811 hassas (VU), Oxyura leucocephala

(Scop.,1769) tehlikede (EN) olarak koruma statüleri bulunmaktadır.
