Primer İNTRAOSSEÖZ MENİNGİOM: OLGU SUNUMU

Abstract

Meningiomlar beyin ve spinal kordun meningeal tabakalarından köken alan tümörlerdir. Genellikle yavaş büyüyen Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (DSÖ) grade I tümörlerdir.Meningiomlar intrakranial neoplazmların %14-20' sini oluşturur ve ekstradural dokularda %1 oranında görülür.Primer intraösseöz meningiom nadirdir ve ayırıcı tanısı zordur. Bu olgu sunumunda nadir görülmesi nedeniyle primer intraosseoz meningiom literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.

Abstract

Meningiomas are common adult brain tumors originating from meningeal lamina of the brain and spinal cord. Generally,meningiomas are slowly growing World Health organization (WHO) grade I tumors, meningioma constitutes 20% to25% of intracranial neoplasms and only 1% are extradural. Primary intra osseous meningioma is a rare entity and thedifferent diagnostic criteria are difficult. A case of primary intra osseous meningioma is reported here and the relatedliterature is reviewed.
