The Moderating Effect of Supportive Organizational Climate on Psychological Capital and Job Satisfaction Relationship

Abstract

Positive organizational behavior was developed evolving from positive psychology while focusing on employee’s psychological capacity and developable positive strengths in organization. Employees, who reflect positive states in organizations, can affect positive organizational outputs better than others. The literature on this subject reveal important positive relationships between psychological capital that means synergic signification of individuals’ positive strengths and job satisfaction that is one of the important organizational outputs. This study inquires the moderating effect of employee perception about organizational climate positivity and supportiveness, on the overall relationship. To test the theoretical model of the research SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) and the hierarchical regression analysis were used. The results of the survey that was held with 319 medical personnel support the moderating effect
