Abstract

Commitment of employees can be an important instrument for improving the performance of organizations. Recent research in the organizational psychology and organizational behavior literature has identified the existence of organizational commitment. Employees’ attitudes toward their work and their organization have been the subject of a great deal of research work over the past three decades. Specifically, researchers have attempted to determine those attitudes which are related to important organizational outcomes
