Öz Yeterlilik ve Tükenmişlik İlişkisi: Lider-Üye Etkileşiminin Aracılık Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, öz yeterlilik ve lider-üye
etkileşiminin tükenmişlik üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olup
olmadığını belirlemektir. Çalışmanın örneklemi Antalya
Side’de faaliyet gösteren beş yıldızlı bir otel işletmesidir. Veriler
anketler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Bu kapsamda yüz otuz
dokuz anket analizlerde kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları,
öz yeterlilik ve lider-üye etkileşiminin tükenmişlik üzerinde
etkili olduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öz
yeterlilik algısı ve lider-üye etkileşimi yüksek olan işgörenlerin
tükenmişlik düzeyleri düşük olmaktadır. Ayrıca lider-üye
etkileşiminin öz yeterlilik ile tükenmişlik arasındaki ilişki
üzerinde aracılık etkisinin olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu noktada,
işgörenlerin öz yeterlilik algısının ve lider-üye etkileşimi
kalitesinin geliştirilmesi hem örgütler hem de işgörenler için
yararlı olacaktır. Bu çalışmanın en önemli kısıtı, çalışmanın
sonuçlarının, araştırmanın sadece tek otelde yapılması
nedeniyle genellenememesidir.

The Relationships Between Self-Efficacy and Burnout: Mediating Effects of Leader-Member Exchange

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is a significant effect of the self-efficacy and the quality of the leader-member exchange on the burnout. The sample of the study is a five star hotel in Antalya Side. The data were collected through questionnaires. In this frame, one hundred and thirty nine questionnaires were analyzed. The results of the study showed that the self-efficacy and the quality of the leader-member exchange influence the level of employees’ burnout. According to the results of the study, those employees who have high self-efficacy perceptions and high leader-member exchanges, have low burnout level. Besides, it is found that leader-member exchange has a mediating effect on the relationship between self-efficacy and burnout. At this point, improving the perceptions of the employees’ selfefficacy and the quality of leader-member exchange will be useful for organizations and employees. The most important limitation of the study that the results of the study cannot be generalized, as the survey was administered in only one hotel
