Spare Parts Distribution Planning and An Application

Year 2016, Volume: 16 Özel Sayı, 21 - 30, 01.11.2016

Abstract

In this study, we discuss a facility location and distribution planning problem of a company which is operating in the white goods sector and an integrated approach is developed. In the context of the developed approach, the locations of the distribution centers and the amount of products which are sent to customers from selected distribution centers are aimed to be determined. To solve this problem, a multi objective decision making technique is used. Firstly, in order to evaluate the possible distribution center locations and determine the weights that will be used in utility criteria, AHP method is used. A multi objective mixed integer programming model which minimizes the total transportation cost and maximizes the total utility which is obtained from important criteria for determining the location of the distribution center is developed. This mathematical model is solved by using GAMS/CPLEX and the optimal distribution center locations are determined. Also, the amount of products that should be transported from a distribution center to a customer location is determined

Yedek Parça Dağıtım Planlamasına Yönelik Model Tasarımı ve Bir Uygulama

Year 2016, Volume: 16 Özel Sayı, 21 - 30, 01.11.2016
