Görsel Algıdan Uygulamaya: Temel Tasarım Sürecinin Resim Eğitimindeki Rolü

Abstract

Sanat eğitimi, bireyin yalnızca teknik becerilerini değil, aynı zamanda görsel algı ve estetik düşünme yetilerini de geliştiren çok boyutlu bir süreçtir. Bu sürecin temelini oluşturan görme eylemi, fiziksel bir kayıttan öte zihinsel bir anlamlandırma sürecidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, görsel algı süreçleri ile temel tasarım eğitimi arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek ve bu ilişkinin resim eğitimi üzerindeki rolünü ortaya koymaktır. Betimsel tarama modelinin kullanıldığı araştırmada, veriler literatür taraması yoluyla elde edilmiş ve betimsel analiz yöntemiyle yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, görsel algı eğitiminin yaratıcılığı doğrudan etkilediğini ve temel tasarım ilke ve elemanlarının (nokta, çizgi, denge, ritim vb.) sanatsal ifadenin görsel gramerini oluşturduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırma sonucunda, temel tasarım eğitiminin öğrencilere sadece biçimsel bir düzenleme yetisi kazandırmadığı, aynı zamanda analitik görme ve görsel problem çözme becerisi kazandırdığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda temel tasarım, resim eğitiminin teknik bir aşaması değil, görsel düşünme sistematiğinin inşa edildiği bilişsel bir süreç olarak değerlendirilmelidir.

Form Visual Perception to Aplication:The Role of the Basic Desing Process in Art Education

Abstract

Art education is a multidimensional process that develops not only the technical skills of the individual but also their visual perception and aesthetic thinking abilities. The act of seeing, which forms the basis of this process, is a mental process of making meaning rather than a mere physical recording. The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between visual perception processes and basic design education and to reveal the role of this relationship in painting education. In the research, where the descriptive survey model was used, the data were obtained through literature review and interpreted with the descriptive analysis method. The findings show that visual perception education directly affects creativity and that basic design principles and elements (point, line, balance, rhythm, etc.) constitute the visual grammar of artistic expression. As a result of the research, it has been determined that basic design education provides students not only with the ability of formal arrangement but also with the skill of analytical seeing and visual problem solving. In this context, basic design should be evaluated not as a technical stage of painting education, but as a cognitive process in which the system of visual thinking is constructed.
