Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Journal of The Institute of Educational Sciences

The Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Journal of the Institute of Educational Sciences (MAKÜ-EBED) is a national, peer-reviewed, and scientific journal that aims to contribute to the advancement of science by sharing developments in educational sciences, field education, and teacher education both in Türkiye and around the world on a scientific platform. Our journal seeks to promote knowledge exchange among all stakeholders in education and to disseminate the outcomes of current research and practices to a broad audience.

MAKÜ-EBED is published online under a continuous publication model and features original theoretical and applied research articles, reviews, and compilations in the field of education. Accepted manuscripts are published throughout the year within the relevant volume and issue once the publication process is completed. In addition, special issues may be published no more than once a year, featuring oral presentations delivered at national and international scientific events (such as symposiums, congresses, and conferences) as well as studies focusing on significant cultural events and figures.

Articles in our journal are published in both Turkish and English. For manuscripts submitted for review, an extended abstract in English is required if the full text is in Turkish, while an extended abstract in Turkish is required if the full text is in English. This practice aims to enhance the international accessibility and visibility of the published studies.

MAKÜ-EBED welcomes all original studies related to educational sciences, field education, and teacher education. Our journal aims to enrich the scientific knowledge base in these fields and contribute to the relevant literature.
