MAKÜ-EBED aims to contribute to knowledge in educational sciences, subject-specific education, and teacher training by disseminating current national and international scholarship on a scientific platform and strengthening interaction among education stakeholders. The journal accepts only Research Articles and Review Articles within these fields.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Journal of The Institute of Educational Sciences (MAKÜ-EBED) is a national, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original theoretical or applied Research Articles and scholarly Review Articles in educational sciences, subject-specific education, and teacher training. The journal follows an online continuous publication model; articles that complete editorial and production processes are published without waiting for a scheduled issue date. The journal publishes in Turkish and English. For manuscripts in Turkish, an extended abstract in English is required; for manuscripts in English, an extended abstract in Turkish is required. Any special issue is subject to the same accepted article types, editorial standards, peer-review process, ethical principles, and publication policies.
