Author Guidelines

Current mandatory submission files: Authors must upload a fully anonymized Main Text and a separate Title Page. The Main Text must follow the current 2026 article template and the English author guidelines. After acceptance, all authors must approve and sign the current Ethical Responsibility, Copyright and Open License Form.

Double-anonymous review: The Main Text must contain no author names, affiliations, email addresses, ORCID identifiers, acknowledgements, funding information, or other identity-revealing statements. File properties, comments, and tracked changes must also be anonymized. All author identity and disclosure information must appear only on the separate Title Page.

Authors retain copyright. Accepted articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

Articles must be prepared in accordance with the APA 7 Publication Manual.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Journal of The Institute of Educational Sciences (MAKÜ-EBED) is a national, peer-reviewed scientific journal that aims to contribute to the advancement of educational sciences, field education, and teacher education by disseminating scholarly research and developments from both Türkiye and the international context. The journal is published online under a continuous publication model, and accepted articles are made available online as soon as the publication process is completed. All articles are offered as open access.
