TÜRKİYE'DE ENDEMİZM VE İZMİR YÖRESİNİN BAZI ENDEMİKLERİ
Abstract
First part of this study deals with endemism and its types in accordance with this endemics are divided into 4 types: Paleoendemics. Shizoendemics, Patroendemics and Apoendemics. The endemic flora is rich like the general flora in our country. Ratio of endemism is 33.5 percent in the general flora. The highest endemism ratio is found in South Anatolia. Amanos, North East and South East Anatolia and along the Anatolian diagonal. Higher density of endemics on serpentines mixed with ultramaphic rocks. Endemics are high on calcareous rocks too, an important part of these are Paleoendemics. Most of the Turkish endemics are neoendemics from the point of view of origin. In all 146 taxa (% 8,49) are endemics in Izmir area. Typical areas are given together with they figures in this study.
