Pandemi Öncesinden Günümüze İşsizlik Konusu Üzerine Yazılmış Lisansüstü Tezlere Yönelik Bir Bibliyografik Analiz Çalışması

Abstract

Bu çalışma, 2019-2024 yılları arasında Türkiye'de üniversitelerde işsizlik konulu yazılan lisansüstü tezleri bibliyografik açıdan incelemektedir. Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanında yer alan 214 tez içerik ve tematik analiz yöntemleriyle değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmalarda işsizlik olgusunun sosyo-ekonomik ve psikolojik boyutları ile çok disiplinli bir şekilde ele alındığı gözlemlenmiştir. Nicel yöntemlerin (%77,10) ve anket kullanımının (%60,75) ağırlıklı olduğu çalışmalar, çoğunlukla betimsel araştırma modellerini kullanmıştır. Genç işsizliği, ekonomik büyüme, enflasyon, işsizlik sigortası, teknolojik gelişmeler ve pandemi etkisi gibi temalar öne çıkmaktadır. Tez üretiminin 2020’de pandeminin etkisiyle azaldığı görülmektedir. Bulgular, işsizliğin hem bireysel hem de toplumsal düzeydeki yansımalarının derinlemesine analiz edildiğini göstermekte, gelecekte daha niteliksel ve deneysel yaklaşımlara ihtiyaç duyulduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.

A Bibliographic Analysis of Postgraduate Theses Written on The Subject of Unemployment From Before The Pandemıc To The Present Day

Abstract

This study analyses the postgraduate theses written on unemployment in universities in Turkey between 2019 and 2024 from a bibliographic perspective. The 214 theses in the database of the National Thesis Centre of the Council of Higher Education were evaluated by content and thematic analysis methods. It was observed that the phenomenon of unemployment was handled in a multidisciplinary manner with its socio-economic and psychological dimensions. The studies, in which quantitative methods (77.10%) and questionnaires (60.75%) were predominant, mostly used descriptive research models. Themes such as youth unemployment, economic growth, inflation, unemployment insurance, technological developments, and pandemic effect stand out. It is observed that thesis production decreased in 2020 due to the pandemic. The findings show that the reflections of unemployment at both individual and social levels have been analysed in depth, and reveal that more qualitative and experimental approaches are needed in the future.
