Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
In line with the decisions taken by Ulakbim TR Index, Ethics Committee Permission is required for studies to be published as of 2020. When uploading your study to our journal, you must also upload your Ethics Committee document along with your article file. If your study is not included in the working group that requires ethics committee approval, you must sign the declaration form stating this situation and indicate the relevant situation in your article text.
In studies that require ethics committee permission, information about the permission (name of the committee, date and number) should be included in the method section and also on the first/last page of the article.
In addition, you are expected to upload the similarity report of your study when you upload your publication to our journal. The similarity report should have a maximum of 20% similarity, with a maximum of 2% from a publication.

Evaluation of Articles
1. Evaluation of manuscripts starts with uploading the article to the Dergipark system.
2. After the electronic document stating that the study has not been published elsewhere or sent to a journal for publication is approved, the article is uploaded to the system for evaluation.
3. In the evaluation of the articles submitted for publication, originality, academic impartiality and scientific quality criteria are adopted.
4. Manuscripts sent to the journal are first reviewed by the Editor within two days in terms of compliance with the journal's principles. Those that are deemed unsuitable are returned to the author for correction.
5. Studies deemed appropriate are forwarded to the Associate Editors and three days are given to be evaluated in terms of compliance with the purpose and scope of the journal. Those that are deemed unsuitable are returned to the author for correction.
6. The articles found suitable are sent to two Editorial Board Members who are known for their work in that field for evaluation within twenty-five days.
7. The names of the Editorial Board Members who made the evaluation are kept confidential and the reports are kept for five years.
8. If one of the reports of the Editorial Board Members is positive and the other is negative, the article is sent to a third member and the Editor and Assistant Editors examine the referee reports and make the final decision.
9. Author(s) must notify the editor that they have withdrawn from the evaluation process of their manuscripts.
10. Author(s) take into consideration the criticisms and suggestions of the Editor, Associate Editor and Editorial Board.
11. If the Author(s) disagree with the criticisms and suggestions, they have the right to object with their justifications.
12. Manuscripts that are not accepted for publication are returned to their author(s).
13. After the study is sent to the journal for publication, the names of the authors cannot be deleted, new names cannot be added and the order of the authors cannot be changed.
14. Manuscripts whose publication process has been completed are published on the basis of their arrival date. However, this order may not be applied for some priority works in order not to lose its timeliness. The authority to decide on this rests with the editor.
15. Responsibilities of all studies published in the journal belong to the author(s).
16. All articles uploaded to the journal are screened for plagiarism in order to be prepared for publication after the author/authors have made final corrections.
