Öznel Sıkıntıları Açma Ölçeği: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışmaları

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın
amacı, Kahn ve Hessling tarafından geliştirilen Öznel Sıkıntıları Açma Ölçeğini
(ÖSAÖ) Türkçe’ye uyarlayarak geçerlik ve güvenirliğini incelemektir.
Araştırmanın verileri, Mersin Üniversitesinin çeşitli fakültelerinde öğrenim
gören 311 (195 kadın, 116 erkek) üniversite öğrencisinden elde edilmiştir.
Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini sınamak üzere açıklayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi
yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Faktör analizi sonuçları ölçeğin, “kendini açma” ve
“kendini gizleme” olarak betimlenen iki uçlu (bipolar) ve tek faktörlü bir
yapıya sahip olduğunu göstermiştir. Ölçeğin iç tutarlığına ilişkin bulgulara
göre, ölçekte yer alan faktörlerin Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayıları kendini
açma için .92, kendini gizleme için .86 olup, bütün ölçekten elde edilen değer
ise .91’dir. ÖSAÖ’nün test tekrarı güvenirliği için üç hafta arayla yapılan
ölçümlerde ise faktör korelasyon katsayıları .83 (kendini açma) ve .74 (kendini
gizleme) olarak belirlenmiştir. Ölçeğin tamamına ilişkin test-tekrar test
güvenirlik katsayısı ise .85 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, yapılan
geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları doğrultusunda iki faktörlü bu ölçeğin
geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
