Ege Journal of Education is a double-blind peer reviewed, and scientific journal that publishes research articles, review articles, and translated texts contributing to educational fields. The journal began its publication in 2001 with a then assigned ISSN 1302-9835 and it has continued publishing with an assigned ISSN 1307-4474 since 2003. It was published both printed and online at least two times a year between the years 2003 and 2011, and since 2012 it has been an online-only journal. It has been published three times a year in March, July, and November since January 2022 as an open access journal under the Creative Commons 4.0 CC-BY-NC-ND license.
Ege Journal of Education publishes academic and authentic studies about educational sciences and field studies classified as scientific at national and international level. Publishing theoretical and practical studies in compliance with academic and universal scientific criteria, the journal aims to promote field experts’ interaction and knowledge sharing among themselves and with society.
Articles in Turkish and in English are published in the journal. An extended abstract in English is required for articles written in Turkish and Turkish for articles written in English.
