Ege Journal of Education is an open-access, double-blind peer reviewed, and scientific journal that publishes research articles, review articles, and translated texts contributing to educational fields. The journal began its publications in 2001. It was published both printed and online at least two times a year between the years 2003 and 2011, and since 2012 it has been an online-only journal.

Ege Journal of Education publishes academic and authentic studies about educational sciences and field studies classified as scientific at national and international level. Publishing theoretical and practical studies in compliance with academic and universal scientific criteria, the journal aims to promote field experts’ interaction and knowledge sharing among themselves and with society.

Ege Journal of Education has been published three times a year in March, July, and November since January 2022.

Articles in Turkish and in English are published in the journal. An extended abstract in English is required for articles written in Turkish and Turkish for articles written in English.
