Abstract

Sunulan derleme ile özellikle son 20 30 yıldır dünyanın birçok ülkesinde güç kazanan tutucu akımların genelde bilim ve bilim eğitimi özelde ise evrimsel araştırma programları ve evrim eğitimi üzerindeki etkilerinin tartışılması amaçlanmıştır Bu amacı gerçekleştirmek üzere öncelikle var olan durum resmedilmeye çalışılmış sonuçta evrimsel yaklaşımlara ilişkin genel kabul düzeyinde azalmanın olduğu ve bilimsel bilginin toplum nazarında değer kaybetmeye başladığı saptanmıştır Söz konusu tablonun altında yatan olası nedenler tarihsel felsefi mantıksal ve bilimsel bir bakış açısıyla irdelenmiştir Daha sonra da bilim eğitimindeki sorunlar ve güçlükler üzerinde durulmuş bunların giderilmesine ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur
