SEXUAL FUNCTIONAND QUALITY OF LIFE İN WOMEN AFTER HYSTERECTOMY

Abstract

Objective: İn this study was planned and performed in order to determine the sexual function and qua ity of life in women after total abdominal hysterectomy TAH .Methods: İn descriptive study, 224 women who undervvent TAH surgery before one year ago and admitted gynecology outpatient clinic for check at State Hospitals in vvestern Turkey. Celal Bayar University scientific ethics committee and patient consent was obtained before research. İn collecting data, patient socio demographic form and lndex o f Female Sexual Function IFSF and SF-36 Quality of Life Scale were used. Data collection forms were filled in face-to-face intervievv method o f approximately 15-20 minutes. The anaiyses o f the data were obtained by using descriptive statistical and Students't test in SPSS i 5.0.Results: The mean age women were 48.25±4.77 years. The women who i 3.4% experienced psychological problem, 22.32% change in marital relationships, 24.6% influenced by the sexual life, 23.7% vaginai dryness, i 5.2% urine and stool missed and 58.9%ı sexuai function disorder SFD was determined after TAH.The subscales scores o f SF-36 were high and subscales scores of IFSF were medium after the TAH. There were statistical differences between sexual dysfunction and subscales scores of IFSF. IESF subscale scores and quality of life related to sexual function were low in women with sexual dysfunction.Conclusion: As a resuit of study, operation of TAH vvasn’t negative effect to sexual function and ali dimensions ofquality of life

KADINLARDA HİSTEREKTOMİ SONRASI CİNSEL FONKSİYON VE YAŞAM KALİTESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Araştırma total abdominal histerektomi TAH ameliyatı yapılmış kadınlarda cinsel fonksiyon ve yaşam kalitesini belirlemek amacıyla planlanmış ve uygulanmıştır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma, Türkiye'nin Batı bölgesindeki bir hastanenin kadın doğum polikliniğine başvuran, son bir yıl içerisinde TAH ameliyatı yapılmış ve cinsel olarak aktif toplam 224 hastayı kapsayan tanımlayıcı bir çalışmadır. Araştırma öncesinde Celal Bayar Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Bilimsel Etik Kurulu'ndan ve hastalardan onam alınmıştır. Veriler sosyodemografik özellikleri içeren anket formu, Kadın Cinsel Fonksiyon Sorgulama indeksi lndex of Female Sexual Function -IFSF ve SF-36 Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği kullanılarak yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile yaklaşık 15-20 dakikada toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS 15.0 paket programında tanımlayıcı istatistikler ve Student t testi kullanılarak yapılmıştır.Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan kadınların yaş ortalaması 48.25±4.77 yıldır. Araştırma grubunun ameliyat sonrasında %13.4'ünün psikolojik sorun yaşadığı, %22.32'sinin eş ilişkilerinin değiştiği, %24.6'sının cinsel yaşamının etkilendiği, %23.7'sinin vajinada kuruluk ve %15.2'sinin idrar- gaita kaçırdığı ve %58.9'unun cinsel işlev bozukluğu CİB yaşadığı saptanmıştır. Araştırma grubunun ameliyattan sonra SF-36 Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği alt boyut puan ortalamaları yüksek. Kadın Cinsel Fonksiyon Sorgulama İndeksi alt boyut puan ortalamaları ortalama düzeyde bulunmuştur. CİB yaşama durumu ile Kadın Cinsel Fonksiyon Sorgulama İndeksi alt boyutlarının tümünde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark belirlenmiştir p
