Abstract

Objective: The study was performed to determine the marital adjustment ofdiabetic women and to assess the effect on quality o f life.Method: The sampling was composed o f 175 married women with type 2 diabetes admitted to a training and research hospital in Konya between October 2012 and March 2013. To collect data, a questionnaire, The Dyadic Adjustment Scale and the Scale o f QoL Specific to Diabetes were used. The analysis o f the data was performed with SPSS package software.Results: İt was determined that mean age rate o f the participants was 5 i.i3 ± i0 .3 5 years, mean duration o f marriage was 29.65 ±11.44 years, mean duration o f diabetes was 9.33±6.33 years, 72% were on the use o f insülin, and 38.3% previously experienced hypoglicemia. DİYABETLİ KADINLARIN EVLİLİK UYUMU VE YAŞAM KALİTESİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma diyabetik kadınlarda evlilik uyumunun belirlenmesi ve yaşam kalitesine etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini Konya'da bulunan bir Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi'ne Ekim 2012- Mart 2013 tarihleri arasında başvuran, evli ve tip 2 diyabet hastası, 175 kadın oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında sosyo demografik ve klinik özellikleri saptamaya yönelik anket formu. Çiftler Uyum Ölçeği, Diyabete Özgü Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır.Bulgular ve Sonuçlar: Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 51.13±10.35 yıl, evlilik süresi 29.65 ±11.44 yıl, diyabet sürelerinin ortalama 9.33±6.33 yıl olduğu, %72'sinin tedavide insülin kullandığı %38.3'ünün daha önce hipoglisemi yaşadığı belirlenmiştir.İnsülin kullanarak tedavi olan kadınların çiftler uyum ölçeği toplam puanının insülin kullanmayan kadınlara göre anlamlı bir şekilde yüksek olduğu p
