Abstract
Epizyotomi; doğumu hızlandırmak ve yırtıkları önlemek amacı ile doğumun ikinci devresinin sonunda yapılan perineal insizyondur. Epizyotomi, doğum esnasında pelvik dokulardaki hasarın. kontrolsüz yırtıkların ve kanamalann önlenmesi, fetüs başının kolay, süratli ve tehlikesiz doğumun sağlanması açısından önemlidir. Gerek bundan gerekse cerahi bir girişim olmasından dolayı epizyotomi bakımı hemşirenin primer sorumluluğudur. Mutlaka hemşire tarafından yerine getirilmesi gereken bu bakım, epizyotominin anneye acı ve ağrı vermeden hızlı bir şekilde iyileşmesini ve düzgün anatomik yapı mn korunmasını amaçlar
Abstract
NURSING CARE IN EPISIOTOMY Episiotomy is an perineal incision which is made at the end of the second phase of Labon. This procedure's aim is to prevent Lacerations and to accelarate the Labor. Episiotomy is an important procedure for preventing uncontrolled lacerations. hernorrhage and injuriesin pelvic tıssues, and delivering the head of fetus easıly and undangerously. This procedure gives promary responsibility to nurses. because it is both a surgical procedure and it has important jeatures as mentioned above The aim of nursing care which must be performed by nurses. is to provide painless healing rapidly and to maintain the tissues in normal anatomic shape.
